Nick is a Director of Photography specializing in narrative, documentary and commercial cinematography.
At the ripe age of 8, Nick’s love story with cameras began when he found an Olympus point and shoot in his hands. A decade later, he moved to Santa Barbara where he studied photography and filmmaking, hustling as a freelance photographer and Trader Joe’s sign artist to make ends meet.
Nick graduated from the School of Cinema at SFSU and has been creating content primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles since 2014.
Born and raised in California, Nick Vaughn has always appreciated the world though the lens of an artist.
